Revenue Enablement Specialist
Description
You combine an understanding of sales and marketing dynamics, a keen eye for detail, synthesis of vast information while making it usable and fun among a diverse sales audience and are well-versed in managing executive-level stakeholders.
You will work closely with the sales leadership team and other cross-functional leads to examine existing business practices while identifying new initiatives that would result in time-savings and increased sales effectiveness. Examples of the strategic initiatives that will be driven by this individual include:
- Developing business enablement assets and tools
- Optimizing new hire sales training, readiness, and effectiveness
- Creating on-going development opportunities for sellers
- Driving programs that ultimately enable direct and revenue generating teams to accelerate sales pipelines
You will have the opportunity to combine a passion for problem-solving, consulting, and coaching with an enthusiasm for technology to drive sales effectiveness and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sellers. You will be responsible for leading programs that accelerate their growth and strengthen their selling capabilities. You will also partner cross-functionally with stakeholders including all sales Lines of Businesses (LOBs), Product Marketing Leaders, Customer Success, Marketing, Lead Development teams, and Engineering to discover and achieve the objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Proven success in deploying and scaling programs that drive adoption of systems, tools, and processes
- Provide tailored sales productivity and sales capability development for different sales personas that include onboarding, new-to-industry, new-to-sales, new-to-Absolute, and development of the next generation of leaders
- Develop and implement customized strategies to drive sales productivity based on leadership input to address Line of Business (LOB) sales team productivity opportunities and challenges
- Perform detailed needs assessments in collaboration with various stakeholders within the organization
- Translate business needs into clear project requirements for scalable and repeatable initiatives to include translation and localization
- Respond rapidly to evolving business needs by providing productivity enhancing programs, processes, and content to address unanticipated opportunities to inform and mobilize sales teams
- Develop and provide supplemental role-specific onboarding programs designed for new hires to include a 30/60/90-day plan for success
- Build and deliver content and training that enables sales teams to identify, support, and close opportunities
- Drive adoption of mechanisms that simplify how sellers introduce sales acceleration programs into the sales cycle and drive pipeline growth
- Create seller development opportunities using a variety of engagement techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based and virtual learning to create an engaging learner experience
- For each initiative, develop an implementation plan and communicate strategy to leadership and stakeholders
- Fully own front-to-end progress against targeted objectives
- Identify project roadblocks, research, and present root-cause analysis, and manage resolution
- Design and implement metrics to measure adoption, impact, and effectiveness of programs
- Measure and report on the adoption, impact, and effectiveness of investments through online dashboards and recurring reporting mechanisms
- Maintain scheduled deadlines, detailed training, and initiative status reports, and introduce processes to optimize management of projects across the organization
- Support ad hoc projects as needed
- Protect the security and privacy of Absolute and its customers
What will you bring?
- Self-starter attitude with the ability to drive programs from A-Z
- Bachelor of Arts/Business/Science or equivalent field experience
- PMP or Agile Project Management certification is a plus
- 5+ years of professional experience in an enterprise sales organization
- Preferably in SaaS technology with a background in Sales, Product Marketing or Sales Enablement
- Experience within organizations supporting commercial and public sectors is highly preferred
- 3+ years of program management skills
- Proficient understanding of the sales process and sales enablement needs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid presentation skills and a confident presence that can garner credibility in front of sales teams and leadership, globally
- Ability to plan, direct, create, and edit training videos using authoring software applications like Articulate 360, Camtasia and other platforms
- Ability to take initiative, own projects and work independently as required
- Ability to work remotely with USA and international time zones
Nice to Have’s:
- Experience successfully building and leading an onboarding program
- Experience supporting channel partner enablement
- Proficient knowledge of utilizing MEDDPICC Sales Methodology
- Solid comprehension of the Adult Learning Theory
